IP blacklist check

We'll check the server's IP address in open spam blacklists. If it's listed, mail from it lands in spam or doesn't arrive at all.

Free, no sign-up. We don't store the addresses you check.

What are blacklists (DNSBL)

Mail servers compare the sender's address with lists of known spam sources. A listed address means mail goes to spam or is rejected. This matters especially for a VPS: a new address may come to you from a former spammer owner.

We only check open lists that are free for this kind of lookup. How to get delisted is described on each list's site — usually it's enough to fix the cause and submit a request.

Frequently asked questions

My address is listed — what should I do?

Find and remove the cause: an infected site, an open mail relay, mailing without consent. Then submit a removal request on the list's site.

A new VPS, and the address is already listed

Addresses pass between customers. Ask the provider to change the IP — a common request that many fulfil for free.
