VPS calculator

Pick your task and traffic — we'll work out how many cores, how much memory and disk the server needs and show matching plans from the catalog right away.

How we calculate

For each task there's a proven starting minimum: a WordPress site gets by with one core and a gigabyte of memory, a shop or 1C-Bitrix needs two cores and 4 GB, a Minecraft server needs fast cores and memory. As traffic grows we multiply the resources.

It's a guide, not an exact calculation: heavy plugins, the database and caching change the picture. Leave a little headroom — almost every provider lets you grow a VPS later.

Frequently asked questions

How much memory does WordPress need?

A site with modest traffic gets by with 1 GB. With WooCommerce, page builders and caching — 2 GB or more.

What matters more — cores or memory?

Websites and databases more often run short of memory, game servers and builds of core speed. If in doubt, add memory.

Can I upgrade the VPS later?

With almost every provider — yes, the plan is upgraded from the panel, often without reinstalling the system.
