Docker
Software in containers: a project moves to any server with one command. Needs KVM.
Docker packs a program with all its dependencies into a container. It runs the same on a developer's laptop and on a VPS, so installation comes down to one command.
Docker needs a KVM (or Hyper-V) VPS: on OpenVZ and LXC container virtualization it often does not work or works with limits.
