Port speed
The VPS network connection's top speed — for example, 100 Mbit/s or 1 Gbit/s.
Port speed is the ceiling at which the server can send and receive data. 100 Mbit/s is about 12 megabytes per second, 1 Gbit/s ten times more.
A site is fine with 100 Mbit/s, while serving files, video or a VPN for many users needs a wide link. Remember: speed is in bits while the browser shows bytes — divide by 8.
